Keeping you & us Covid secure
To ensure the safety of all, we have put some new measures in place, as follows:
We thank you all for you cooperation and patience with us whilst we work through these new times.
- Booking is now essential. When possible please book a table prior to your visit. We totally understand that sometimes going out for lunch or dinner is a spur of the moment decision. However please contact us before arriving to ensure we have space for you, and also to advise the best time to arrive to limit guests arriving at the same time. To book call 01553 775668 or email info@thepartridgenorfolk.co.uk
- Face masks are to be worn on arrival and until you are sat at your designated table. Moving around the building should be minimal, however face masks must be worn when doing so, such as when going to the toilet or leaving.
- Sanitiser points will be located at every entrance and exit. We will be operating a one way system to be followed as much as reasonably possible. Front door is our entrance, and the back door (to the beer garden) will be our exit.
- On Arrival all guests will be asked for their name and contact details to follow the government requirements for track & trace. These will be stored safely by us, and only given to the appropriate governing bodies.
- Evening service will now commence at 5.30pm and the kitchen will close at 8.15pm.
- Tables may be booked out multiple times during the service, so please arrive at The Partridge for your designated booked time, as there may not be another table available for you to wait at. If you would like to arrive early for a drink, prior to your meal please advise us of this when booking your table and we will do our best to try and accommodate (this may not be possible on busy evenings such as Fridays & Saturdays)
- The Partridge will be closing its doors every evening at 10pm sharp. Last orders will now be called at 9.30pm and we will ask customers to leave the premise at 9.50pm this is all to coincide with the latest ruling from the UK government.
- Following government guidelines there will be no ordering at the bar, all guests (dining or drinking) will receive table service only. Card payments are preferred where possible, but cash will still be accepted.
- As customers please make sure you adhere to all government guidelines (www.gov.uk/coronavirus). Please respect our staff and other customers personal space, sticking to the 2 metre distancing where possible. Following new government guideline a maximum singular party size of 6 people will be allowed. All guests must adhere to social distancing and stay at the designated tables.
- We are implementing a number of new cleaning regimes on top of our already strict cleaning schedule. These will take place at multiple points throughout the day. Our staff will be washing their hands vigorously during the day. All will be trained and instructed under the new guidelines. Where possible one staff member will be assigned a singular designated section to work.
- Our large, spacious and socially distanced garden tables operate on a first come first served basis. We have an outside bar to be used as an order point to limit traffic inside the premises.
- We will no longer be storing any guests personal items, such as coats or bags. These are to be kept within you personnel space or to be left in your cars. We also ask for you to not to bring in any unnecessary items. Prams cannot be stored next to tables as they will intrude on other guests space.
- We are very fortunate that the layout of the building allows us to have a lot of space between our tables. However, we have still reduced our capacity to allow even more space. Tables in our restaurant will be 2 metres apart. However when weather permits we will encourage guests to eat in our large beer garden.
- Our incredible suppliers are working with us to operate a non-contact delivery system.
- If you have any symptoms of COVID19 prior to visiting us please DO NOT come. If you show symptoms whilst on our premises we reserve the right to ask you to leave. Our staff and customers safety is the most important thing to us.
We thank you all for you cooperation and patience with us whilst we work through these new times.
